A leading recruitment agency is seeking an experienced assembler to join a specialized equipment manufacturing company in Manchester. The ideal candidate must have soldering skills and experience building mechanical assemblies with power tools. This temporary contract offers various shifts and the possibility of extending to a permanent role for the right candidate. Overtime is available on weekends for those interested.

Job description

• Temporary contract available for an experienced assembler with soldering skills to a good standard. MUST have previous experience of building mechanical assemblies using power tools.
• The company design and manufacture specialised equipment for inspecting pipelines, drains and sewers. They make crawler systems and push cameras and identify issues like blockages, leaks or structural damage to pipeline
• They offer two shifts, one is a five day shift Mon-Thurs - 7.00am - 3.30pm and Fri - 7.00am - 2.15pm and they second shift is a four day week - Mon - Wed - 7am-5pm and Thursday - 7am - 4.30pm.
• They also offer overtime on Fridays and Saturdays if candidates want to pick this up as extra - this is paid at time and half.
• This will be for a period of minimum 3 months, but could be extended. For the right candidate, they could consider offering a permanent contract.
• Only candidates with assembly and soldering skills will be considered for this role.
