Job Opportunity: Assembler/Solderer in Waterlooville

Our client, a renowned manufacturing company based in Waterlooville, is seeking an experienced Assembler/Solderer to join their team on a Temp to Perm basis. This role involves board-level assembly and box build, reporting directly to the Production Manager.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience with PCBA assembly, including SMT and PTH soldering
• Knowledge of IPC 610 standards, with proficiency in PTH/SMT soldering to IPC610 class 2
• Excellent component recognition skills
• Ability to work with fine pitch components under a microscope
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and BOMs
• Capable of prioritizing tasks and working under pressure
• Inspection experience is a plus but not essential

Responsibilities:

1. Assembling PCBs using SMT and PTH techniques
2. Following customer BOMs and drawings to meet quality standards
3. Performing PCBA rework as needed

Working Conditions:

• Contract role with the potential to become permanent
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 15:30
