Job summary

A component manufacturing company in Braintree is seeking an Assembler for their resin department. The position offers a starting salary of £12.21 per hour, with potential increases based on experience. Duties include preparing moulds, weighing materials, and quality inspection. Candidates should ideally have assembly experience and be physically fit for heavy lifting. This is a temporary to permanent position with a 38-hour work week from Monday to Thursday, with early finish on Fridays.

Job description

A component manufacturing company based in Braintree are looking for an Assembler to help assist in their resin department. You will ideally have some experience within assembly or manufacturing.

Starting salary will be 12.21ph which can rise with experience. Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 08:00-16:30, with an early finish on a Friday! 38 hour week. This is a temporary to permament role.

The role is working in a new and high spec factory, so it's an exciting time to join!

Assembly Operative duties include:

• Cleaning and preparing moulds

• Weighing out resins and fillers

• Sand blasting components as well as polishing

• Working with small components

• Follow detailed inspection procedures

• Lifting and moving heavy products

The ideal candidate must have a flexible approach and be keen to learn, as you will be working within a busy environment. You will need to be physically fit as there will be an element of heavy lifting within the role.
