Job Description:

Aspiring Youth Worker - Restorative Practice - Mental Health - Education and Training. Ideal for Psychology/Criminology graduates with aspirations in Criminal Justice and Probation – Woking.

This role focuses on working in a challenging school setting for boys with trauma and mental health needs. It offers a pathway to careers such as probation officer, youth offending teams, and youth counselors.

The Provision & LSA role involves working with students aged 9-16 with SEMH, Autism, ADHD, Asperger’s, OCD, Dyslexia, and related challenges.

Key responsibilities include supporting recovery from trauma through restorative practices, delivering practical and vocational subjects, and fostering social and emotional development.

Training in MAPA and ABA will be provided. The role pays £88+ per day PAYE, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.00pm.

This position offers valuable experience in a specialist setting, emphasizing empathy, pragmatism, and holistic education approaches. You will work with students holding Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs) and focus on raising academic attainment across various subjects, including vocational courses like computing, hairdressing, PE, and performing arts.
