Aspiring Youth Outreach Worker - High Wycombe - Education and Training - Aspiring Youth Justice Worker

Location: High Wycombe

Role Overview:

  • Support children aged 7-19 in a specialist provision, many with significant trauma, social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
  • Focus on holistic and restorative practices, promoting empathy and positive engagement.
  • Role involves practical work, safeguarding, and SEN support, with training provided, including MAPA.
  • Support students with diverse needs, including Autism, OCD, social anxiety, and Pervasive Developmental Disorders.
  • Encourage independence and provide positive objectives to aid their progress.

Requirements:

  • Ideal for Criminology or Psychology graduates interested in Youth Justice or Outreach roles.
  • Ability to undertake physical work and adapt to challenging behaviour.
  • Willingness to participate in training and support programs.
