Vision for Education Ltd is seeking enthusiastic Graduate Teachers to work as Cover Supervisors in secondary schools across East Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire. You will deliver pre-set lessons, manage classroom behaviour and support students’ learning while gaining paid experience toward teacher training.

This role is ideal for recent graduates considering teaching careers, with opportunities to build relationships with staff and pupils and progress toward PGCE or teacher training.

Qualifications

• Hold a degree or be currently studying towards one
• Have a passion for working with young people
• Be confident managing groups of students aged 11-16
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Be adaptable, resilient and professional

Responsibilities

• Supervising whole classes during teacher absences
• Delivering pre-planned lessons and activities
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively
• Supporting students to remain focused and engaged
• Reporting back to teaching staff following lessons
