Job summary

EdEx are exclusively working with a mainstream secondary school in Merton to recruit two Teaching Assistants (Aspiring Speech and Language Therapist - Teaching Assistant) to support the school's Speech, Communication and Language provision for pupils with varied needs.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm, term-time only, with a daily rate of £110–£120. It offers excellent training and progression toward SLT/related fields within a supportive Trust.

Qualifications

• Graduate with 1st or 2:1 from a reputable university (subject not a barrier).
• Good A-levels and GCSEs including English at GCSE.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with Speech, Language and Communication needs.
• Work 1-2-1 and in small groups, inside and outside classrooms.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists and psychologists to support pupils.
