Staffline is recruiting a Trainee Sewing Machinist for a world-leading designer and manufacturer of medical devices, based in Redruth. The role offers 39 hours per week at £12.71 per hour with a 12-week temporary period leading to permanent employment for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in textiles/art and be able to work individually or as part of a team. Full training is provided and onsite support from Staffline is available.

Formación

• Interest in textiles/art field is essential.
• Ability to work with numbers and be numerically competent; basic computer literacy is required.
• Full training provided; prior experience not essential.

Responsabilidades

• Sewing bespoke garments including reinforcements and fastenings.
• Following different patterns to work from.
• Check products to specifications.
• Sewing alterations as required.
• Log work on manufacturing software.
