Provide Education is recruiting Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Sheffield. This role offers free training, a shadow day, and opportunities to increase daily pay as you gain experience.

Previous classroom experience is advantageous but not essential, and you will start at £105 per day with potential progress to £130-£140 per day. You will supervise students aged 11-16, deliver prepared materials, manage behaviour, and support teachers in delivering engaging lessons.

• Experience with young people is advantageous but not essential.

• Ability to supervise groups and manage classroom behaviour.
• Reliable, adaptable and organised.
• Interested in secondary schools and developing a career in education.
• Willing to complete training, shadow day and compliance checks.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise students aged 11-16 during lessons when the regular teacher is absent.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure students understand the work provided.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Encourage students to remain focused and complete their work.
• Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures.
• Report any concerns to the appropriate school staff.
