Hertfordshire Sports Village on the de Havilland Campus in Hatfield is offering a 9‑month university sandwich work placement combining voluntary S&C coaching with a paid Health & Fitness role. You will work under UKSCA accreditation guidance to broaden knowledge, coaching styles and employability while contributing to a wide athlete roster.

This placement supports preparation for REPS Level 2 qualification and UKSCA Level 3 Diploma, with a focus on developing coaching skills in sport settings

Qualifications

• Outgoing second year undergraduate student seeking to broaden knowledge in S&C & H&F.
• Willingness to work in a multidisciplinary team within a busy environment.
• Interest in coaching a range of athletes from grass roots to elite levels.

Responsibilities

• S&C coach for GB Badminton/UKSI and other roles listed.
• Support school athletic development coaching across programs.
• Help lead S&C coaching at Performance Herts and HSV facilities.
