The role:
The successful Aspiring Psychologist will be primarily involved in supporting students who struggle with their mental health.
These students struggle with depression, anxiety and learning difficulties. This often comes from having a hard childhood or trauma. This can impact their learning in a negative way. Your job will be to facilitate a safe and engaging environment for these students to thrive at school.
While your day to day duties will revolve mostly around supporting the students, you will also be supporting the class teacher to manage the classroom, prepare for lessons, tidy up after lessons and support reading and phonics.
The successful Aspiring Psychologist:
To be successful in this role, you will need to be passionate about making a difference for children who have a hard time at school. You will need to be confident and resilient and be able to adapt to the needs of the different children you will be supporting.
Key information:
This role is based in a school in Oxford. The pay is between £75 and £85 per day. This is a long term role starting as soon as possible. Part time and full time options are available. Aspiring psychologists are encouraged to apply.
