Our highly regarded specialist school in Headington is looking for an enthusiastic Mental Health Assistant.

Our amazing specialist school believes every child has the potential to succeed and is committed to providing the necessary support to help them thrive. They are seeking a Mental Health Assistant to join their team ASAP.

This role involves facilitating and providing tailored emotional support to students, helping them navigate their feelings, build resilience, and develop coping strategies. As a Mental Health Assistant, you will work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to create a supportive and safe environment for students.

The students come from varied backgrounds, many having experienced adverse childhood experiences, trauma, stress, and anxiety, which can impact their learning. The ideal candidate will be a pillar of support for these students.

You will facilitate and provide individualized support, including ABA Therapy. Full training will be provided!

You will help develop students' social skills, emotional regulation, and academic engagement through therapy, in a nurturing environment.
