Job summary

Milk Education is seeking Psychology graduates and graduates from related fields to work as Learning Support Assistants in Primary Schools across North Durham. No specific teaching qualifications required; roles suit recent graduates aiming for careers in educational, clinical or child psychology.

Responsibilities include supporting pupils, one-on-one and small-group support, and promoting wellbeing and engagement in lessons. Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, with a daily rate of £107.71.

Qualifications

• Graduated within the last 5 years with a relevant and transferable degree such as Psychology, Education, Coaching, Counselling or similar.
• Recent, referenceable employment within the last 2 years.
• Genuine interest in supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing.
• Patient, calm and empathetic approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare or related area is desirable.
