Aspiring Psychologist - Ascot

Our highly regarded specialist school is looking for an enthusiastic Mental Health Assistant.

Our amazing specialist school believes every child has the potential to succeed and is committed to providing the necessary support to help them thrive. They are seeking a Mental Health Assistant to join their team ASAP.

This important role involves facilitating and providing tailored emotional support to students, helping them navigate their feelings, build resilience, and develop coping strategies. As a Mental Health Assistant, you will work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to create a supportive and safe environment for our students.

The students at this school come from diverse backgrounds, many having faced adverse childhood experiences, trauma, stress, and anxiety, which can impact their ability to learn. They need an individual who can serve as a pillar of support for them.

As a dedicated Mental Health Assistant, you will facilitate and provide individualized support, including ABA Therapy. Full training will be provided!

You will be involved in developing students' social skills, emotional regulation, and academic engagement through therapy, all within a supportive and nurturing environment.
