Job summary

SubSea Craft is seeking an Associate Product Manager to help develop autonomous and unmanned capabilities for defence and commercial use. You will work with product managers, engineers, and subject matter experts to gather requirements and shape roadmaps.

The role suits a recent graduate or those with limited experience who are passionate about technology and eager to learn, with emphasis on curiosity, clear communication, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aerospace, Robotics, Product Management, or another relevant STEM discipline.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex ideas clearly; comfortable with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC minimum). Travel within the UK and internationally (1-2 times per year).

Responsibilities

• Support the development of product requirements for UAV and autonomous system applications.
• Translate technical concepts into clear product requirements, user stories, and capability descriptions.
• Prepare presentations, product documentation, business cases, and customer materials; participate in demos and workshops.
• Build understanding of defence, autonomy, and UAV markets through hands-on experience.
• Contribute to CONOPs and mission-focused use cases.
• Foster collaboration between engineering, business development, and operations teams.
• Help maintain product roadmaps and capability development plans.
• Engage with engineers, operators, and customers to understand operational challenges.
