Academics Ltd seeks an Aspiring Probation Officer to join a supportive team at a school near Redhill. The role focuses on helping 9-16 year olds with EHCPs, supporting mental health, learning and behaviour, with therapies available as part of individual plans.

You will supervise behaviour, work with individuals or small groups, foster social skills and confidence, and take part in team meetings and training. Salary is £95-£110 per day.

Competenze

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant subject such as Psychology or Criminology.
• Good English and Maths education; A Levels preferable.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills and a caring attitude.
• Experience or interest in meeting diverse learning and behavioural needs.

Mansioni

• Provide assistance and supervision for children's behaviour and support learning.
• Work with a class, small group, or individual learners inside or outside the classroom.
• Encourage development of social skills and support individual needs.
• Help build confidence and motivation.
• Participate in team meetings and training as an active team member.
• Maintain progress records.
