Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic graduates to work as Cover Supervisors across secondary schools in Lincolnshire, including Grimsby. Roles are available on a daily supply and long-term basis, with full and part-time options.

No teaching qualification required, making it ideal for graduates exploring a career in education. You will supervise KS3/KS4 classes, deliver pre-prepared materials, and support students while developing classroom management and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate or have a genuine interest in pursuing a career in education.
• Willing to complete CPD training as required by Tradewind Recruitment.
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure or willingness to obtain one.
• Must have the legal right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes across KS3 and KS4 in the absence of the usual classroom teacher.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure students remain on task.
• Maintain appropriate classroom expectations and promote a positive learning environment.
• Support students with their work and encourage engagement in lessons.
• Manage low-level behaviour effectively and confidently.
• Develop valuable classroom management, communication and leadership skills.
• Build positive professional relationships with students and school staff.
• Report any issues or concerns to the relevant teaching staff.
