The School:

Teaching Assistant – Class Assistant - Aspiring Clinical/Educational Psychologist - SEN – Woking

This school is known to be one of the best SEN schools in Surrey. They provide a safe learning environment for children with complex learning, social, and communication difficulties, including physical disabilities. The school offers therapies such as occupational therapy, physiotherapy, music, speech, and language therapies, especially when these are part of a young person's Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The team works closely with therapists to support the physical and emotional well-being of the children. The school features excellent facilities and on-site equipment, including a therapy pool, sensory rooms, and I-Gaze technology. It also provides on-site training and support, aiding progression to roles like senior support assistants, teachers, and therapy assistants.

This role involves working with secondary-aged pupils, and it is an exciting time to join as the school moves into a new state-of-the-art building in October.

The Children:

Children have various special needs, including Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties, and Physical Disabilities. Some children may be non-verbal or require personal care.
