Job summary

Academics Ltd in East Grinstead is seeking an Aspiring Child Psychologist/SEN LSA to support pupils with learning difficulties. You will assist the class teacher, provide behaviour and pastoral support, and help students in 1:1 and small-group settings.

This role offers on-site training and CPD, requires an Enhanced DBS or overseas police check, and UK right to work. Working hours are 08:30–16:00, Monday to Friday, term-time only, with pay of £93–£105 per day.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with mild to severe learning difficulties.
• Ability to work 1:1 and in small groups.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children.
• Right to work in the UK; DBS check as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the class teacher in providing the learning experience of students
• Behaviour and pastoral support

• Attend staff meetings and complete CPD
• Ensure safeguarding of students
• Able to commute to East Grinstead
