You will support students with special educational needs (SEN), and a range of associated social, emotional and mental health challenges (SEMH).
This Aspiring Child Counsellor/SEN LSA role is ideal for a Psychology, Sociology and Criminology graduates. You will gain excellent practical experience with SEN/SEMH pupils in a relevant field, before you take your next step. The role will give you experience working with vulnerable pupils, increasing their engagement, attainment and life chances.
These children and young people face multiple barriers in their day-to-day life, including trauma, marginalisation and disadvantage, low educational achievement and social stigma. No previous experience is required
