You'll be working for a national, but family-owned aggregates organisation that does everything from quarrying stone to pouring concrete. They are searching for an Asphalt Testing Technician in and around the Norwich area. This is an 18-24 month Fixed Term Contract; however, there is an opportunity for the role to become permanent.

What will you be doing?

Working in a lab environment, you'll be using machines to test the strength of asphalt and other aggregate samples and recording the results.

You need to be very experienced in asphalt testing already, being able to hit the ground running is key. A full UK driving license is required.

Attention to detail and accuracy are essential, as the results you record have significant implications for safety and profits.

If there’s a problem, you need to communicate it accurately to managers. Can you communicate in detail?
