Job summary
Toppesfield in the UK is seeking experienced Machine Lay Surfacing Gangs and Asphalt Operatives to join our Site Operations team in East Anglia, delivering asphalt works across highways, aviation, commercial and major infrastructure projects with a Foreman and Plant Operators.
Ideal candidates will hold a valid CSCS card, plant operator tickets, a full UK driving licence (preferred) and proven asphalt surfacing experience, plus strong health and safety awareness and good communication.
Qualifications
- Valid CSCS card.
- Relevant plant operator tickets.
- Full UK driving licence (preferred).
- Proven experience in asphalt surfacing.
- Strong health and safety awareness.
- Good communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Delivering machine and hand lay surfacing across a variety of projects.
- Laying, levelling and compacting asphalt materials.
- Operating paving and compacting equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality.
- Working to daily programmes and production targets.
- Following Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) procedures.
