ASHP Installation Engineer – Social Housing Specialist

Job summary

Hiring People is seeking an experienced plumbing and heating engineer with hands-on Air Source Heat Pump installation experience to work exclusively in Bradford. You will join a well-established organisation delivering high-quality heating installations within occupied social-housing properties.

You will manage ASHP installations end-to-end, including cylinders, radiator upgrades, primary pipework and controls, with a focus on safety, workmanship and customer service.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 Plumbing & Heating (Level 3 preferred).
• Air Source Heat Pump qualification (BPEC, City & Guilds, LCL, EAL or equivalent).
• Water Regulations qualification.
• G3 Unvented Hot Water qualification when cylinders are installed.
• Hands-on ASHP installations experience including cylinders, radiator upgrades, primary pipework, flushing and commissioning.
• CSCS/SKILLcard or equivalent.
• Own van and tools; public liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Installing and altering hot water cylinders.
• Completing radiator upgrades.
• Installing and modifying primary pipework.
• Flushing, filling and preparing heating systems.
• Installing and working with heating controls.
• System commissioning and completion of relevant information.
• Taking installation photographs and recording evidence for MCS and retrofit evidence packs.
• Working safely and professionally within occupied social-housing properties.
• Maintaining excellent housekeeping and customer care throughout each installation.
