Job summary

Gold Group is seeking a skilled Heating Engineer to design, install, maintain and repair ASHP heating systems across residential and commercial properties. The role requires carrying out surveys, selecting heat pump configurations and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have Level 3 NVQ heating, a full UK driving license, and experience with air source and ground source heat pumps. A pro-active, customer-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in heating engineering or related field (minimum Level 3 NVQ).
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to various job sites.
• Level 2 NVQ in plumbing and heating.
• NICEIC unit 4, Level 3 Award in Low Temperature Heating and Hot Water Systems in Dwellings.

Responsibilities

• Design the heat pump system following a survey of the customer’s property.
• Install, maintain, and repair heating systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics to identify issues and ensure optimal performance of heating equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.
• Collaborate with other team members and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, including service reports and maintenance logs.
• Stay updated on the latest industry developments, technologies, and best practices.
