Job summary

Ashcroft Services is offering a Roofing Apprenticeship (Level 2) in the West of England. You will learn alongside experienced tradespeople on real projects while completing your accredited Level 2 Roofer training with Greenlight Training Limited. The program runs for 2 years with a starting wage between £16,640 and £26,436.80 per year and 40 hours per week.

There are 3 positions available. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.

Responsibilities

• Site Preparation & Safety: Setting up edge protection, staging, safety harnesses, and maintaining safe working practices at height.
• Pitched Roofing: Measuring, setting out, cutting, and fixing battens, breathable felt underlay, concrete/clay tiles, and natural slates.
• Off-the-Job Training: Attending regular training blocks at an accredited training academy to practice technical rig work, building physics, and study for your End-Point Assessment (EPA).

Job description

If you enjoy working with your hands, being outdoors, and want a real trade with long-term job security and high earning potential, a Roofing Apprenticeship is one of the smartest routes into the industry.

You will learn directly alongside experienced tradespeople on real projects, while completing your accredited Level 2 Roofing.

Annual wage: £16,640 to £26,436.80 a year

Work

As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
