GREENLIGHT TRAINING LIMITED in Yeovil invites a keen, hardworking individual to begin an apprentice roofer position. You will work with experienced roofers, learn on-site safety, and handle materials while developing practical roofing skills. The program leads toward an apprenticeship qualification and long-term trade progression.

The role emphasizes learning by doing, hands-on practice at height, and progression as confidence grows in a busy on-site environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced roofers with day-to-day roofing work
• Learn to safely work at height and use access equipment
• Prepare and handle roofing materials and tools
• Measure, cut and fit roofing materials
• Assist with roof repairs, maintenance and installations
• Learn to install tiles, slates and other roofing materials
• Keep the work area clean, safe and organised
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times
• Develop practical skills and take on more responsibility as confidence grows
• Attend training with Greenlight Training and work towards the apprenticeship qualification
