Job summary

The post holder at Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust will be a key member of the Pharmacy Aseptic Services team, supporting the safe, effective and timely preparation and supply of aseptically prepared medicines for patients across the Trust.

You will work in a GMP environment, contribute to PQS and SOP compliance, and support training and the development of staff within Aseptic Services. This Band 3 to Band 4 progression post provides full training and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Aseptic preparation and supply of medicines in a GMP environment.
• Competence in GMP, PQS and SOPs.
• Training, supervision and competency development of staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and supply aseptically prepared medicines.
• Participate in training and development of junior staff.
• Work within cleanroom and isolator environments.
• Support progression through SMT qualification and Band 4 competencies.
