Hi, I'm Christine, Accountable Pharmacist for the Clinical Trials Aseptic Services Unit. We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Aseptic Services Manager to join our Pharmacy Clinical Trials Aseptic Services Team at our well-established facility. This role is dedicated to clinical trials, and you will work as part of the wider Pharmacy Clinical Trials Team. You will have the opportunity to utilize and expand your knowledge and experience in aseptics within the UK, delivering a range of aseptically dispensed clinical trial medicines.

Main Duties

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the CTAS, ensuring aseptic preparation of medicines aligns with current guidance and best practices.
• Implement initiatives to reduce financial costs and environmental impact of the CTAS service.
• Maintain a good working knowledge of QA standards and guidance documents, reviewing and implementing changes as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with regulations such as the EU Directive/EC, UK regulations, and ICH GCP guidelines for clinical trial medicines.
• Oversee preventative maintenance and environmental monitoring programs, managing deviations to ensure standards are met.
• Manage staff recruitment, induction, and ongoing training to maintain an effective workforce.
• Ensure high standards of customer care and patient focus within the team.
