Job summary

The Pharmacy Technical Services team at Lewisham University Hospital is looking for a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant Technical Services (Band 2) to support aseptic preparation and dispensing of sterile medicines, including chemotherapy, in a busy hospital setting.

You will work 37.5 hours per week, on a rota including weekends/bank holidays, with training provided to achieve NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Services and to operate the Ascribe system.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above (or equivalent).
• Working towards or hold NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Services Award.

Responsibilities

• Aseptically dispense sterile Cytotoxic products and other sterile injectables.
• Perform environmental and physical monitoring of the Aseptic Unit; maintain records.
• Carry out daily clean and order stock in the Aseptic Unit.
