Job summary

Baxter is hiring a Production Technician at the Stockport site. You will join a fast-paced, highly regulated environment, supporting the preparation, manufacture and inspection of life-saving medicines in a modern cleanroom facility.

Based in Stockport, you will operate on rotating shifts (06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00, Monday to Friday) with weekends free, focusing on quality, safety and compliance while developing aseptic production skills.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures in a regulated environment.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, compound and manufacture products per approved procedures.
• Work in a cleanroom, supporting aseptic manufacturing activities.
• Label products accurately and ensure specifications are met.
• Dispense, prepare and sanitise raw materials for production.
• Set up equipment, perform checks and maintenance.
• Monitor production areas for cleanliness and compliance.
• Support environmental and facility monitoring programmes.
• Manage inventory within isolators and production areas.
• Validate aseptic techniques and GMP adherence.
• Identify and help resolve production deviations and non-conformances.
• Maintain productivity targets while ensuring quality.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
