Job summary

Academics in Reading is seeking an ASD Teaching Assistant to support children with Autism and related needs. The role is full-time with an ASAP start, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm.

You will work 1:1 and in small groups to help pupils access learning, regulate emotions, and thrive in a nurturing, structured environment. A background in Psychology or Education is helpful, and a passion for SEN is valued.

ASAP Start - Full-Time Position

An inclusive and well-resourced specialist school in Reading is looking for a compassionate ASD Teaching Assistant to support students with Autism and associated needs. This full-time position is perfect for individuals with a background in Psychology, Education, or those with relevant personal or professional experience.

As an ASD Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them navigate the school day, regulate emotions, and access learning in a supportive, structured environment.
