ASD Support Assistant - Bath

Location: Bath

Start Date: September 2025 (starts available before)

Salary: £450 - £475 per week

Duration: Ongoing

Are you passionate about supporting children with autism? A welcoming primary school in Bath is seeking an ASD Support Assistant to join its resource base, supporting children with ASD and related needs in a collaborative and nurturing environment.

What you will do:

1. Provide tailored support to children with ASD, enhancing communication, social, and emotional skills
2. Work 1:1 and in small groups, delivering engaging learning activities
3. Assist with behaviour management and daily routines
4. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and SEN professionals

What we are looking for:

1. Experience working with children with autism or special educational needs
2. A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach
3. Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
