A large primary school in Greenwich is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support Year 2 students with ASD and challenging behaviour.

Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant (ASD):

• Provide tailored support to children with ASD, helping them develop communication, social, and emotional skills.
• Work one-to-one and in small groups, delivering structured learning activities.
• Assist with behaviour management and support students in their daily routines.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and SEN professionals to ensure a positive learning experience.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children with autism or additional needs.
• A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to support, education, and training.
• An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
