Job summary

Academics in Havering are recruiting two ASD/ADHD Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming primary school on a long-term basis. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with ASD/ADHD, help them stay engaged and confident, and adapt activities to meet individual needs.

You will work closely with the class teacher and wider support team, with chances to take on extra responsibilities such as breakfast or after-school clubs.

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant who enjoys supporting children with ASD and ADHD and helping them get the most from their school day? Academics are currently recruiting for two ASD/ADHD Teaching Assistants in Havering to join a welcoming primary school on a long-term basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build on their experience supporting pupils with additional needs, while also having the chance to take on extra responsibilities within the school.

The Role

• ASD/ADHD Teaching Assistant
• Location: Havering
• Start: ASAP
• Contract: Long-term, until July 2027
• Pay: £95-£120 per day
• Permanent opportunity: Available at the end of the contract
