We’re working with a fantastic specialist school in Newcastle, supporting children and young people with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), aged 3 to 19. They’re on the lookout for a brilliant Teaching Assistant to join their team and help pupils shine.

What’s the role all about?
You’ll be part of a team creating calm, structured classrooms where pupils can learn, grow, and thrive. Working closely with teachers, families, and outside specialists, you’ll help students build independence, boost their communication skills, and develop confidence in themselves.

Day to day, you’ll be:

Supporting pupils’ communication, social interaction, and independence

Helping deliver lessons shaped around each child’s needs

Encouraging positive behaviour and celebrating progress, no matter how small

Teaming up with families, teachers, and therapists to make sure pupils get the right support
