Learning Support Assistant (Primary ASC Class) – Winchester Area

Location: Near Winchester, Hampshire
Hours: 8:45am – 3:00pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Pay: £13.75 per hour (initially via Teaching Personnel)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming Primary School near Winchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children within an Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) specialist class.

About the role:

Support pupils with Autism and other additional needs in a specialist primary class setting.

Work closely with teachers and other support staff to deliver tailored learning plans.

Promote a nurturing and inclusive environment for all pupils.

Requirements:

Experience working with children with Autism is highly desirable.

Alternatively, experience supporting pupils with additional needs or a background in healthcare/medical sectors will be considered.

Must be available full time (Monday to Friday, 8:45am–3:00pm, term time only).

A passion for helping young people thrive and a proactive, positive attitude.

Willingness to start as soon as possible.

What we offer:

£13.75 per hour, paid weekly through Teaching Personnel.

Opportunity to transition to a permanent contract directly with the school.

Support and guidance from both the school and Teaching Personnel throughout your placement.
