Job summary

SOCOTEC UK is seeking an Asbestos Surveyor to join our Environment & Safety Division. You will survey buildings, collect samples, and identify asbestos-containing materials to help ensure safe workplaces and communities.

You'll work on projects across defence, rail, roads, power stations, retail, and heritage sectors, with a focus on accuracy, regulatory compliance, and delivering clear client reports in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402 / RPSH Level 3 in Asbestos Surveying.
• Strong asbestos knowledge and understanding of regulations.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking asbestos surveys of a broad range of premises
• Liaising with clients and Project Managers
• Accurately recording site information and submitting reports
