Responsibilities

• Collate and produce asbestos reports as required.
• Establish and maintain a strong working relationship with clients.

Job description

Our client is a successful asbestos consultancy who provide a broad range of asbestos and environmental services to a large portfolio of clients. They are currently seeking a high calibre and multi‑skilled Asbestos Surveyor /Analyst to join the team and are looking for someone based in and around the Hull area. The ideal applicant will hold the P402/3/4 certificates and have previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst on a range of sites. The successful candidate will be managing their own clients and providing an on‑going consultancy service, so must be self‑sufficient and technical‑minded. Applications from Beverley, Goole, Pocklington and surrounding areas are welcome.

Qualifications & Experience

• Hold the P402, P403 and P404 asbestos certificates or an equivalent RSPH qualification.
• Have significant experience in asbestos surveying and air‑testing/monitoring within the industry.
• Experience managing own workload and providing a consultancy service to clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fully conversant with Health & Safety procedures regarding asbestos.
• Interest in additional qualifications such as P401, P402, P403, P404, S301 CCP.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out asbestos 4‑stage clearances (smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re‑occupation and personal air testing) on various properties.
• Conduct Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on commercial and industrial sites.
• Oversee asbestos contractors on site, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety procedures.
• Collate and produce asbestos reports as required.
• Establish and maintain a strong working relationship with the company’s portfolio of clients.
