Job description

Our client are a UKAS accredited company providing an array of asbestos services to clients nationwide and they are now looking to recruit an experienced Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to cover a wide range of contracts in the Coventry area. The successful candidate will come from a strong asbestos background and will hold the P402/3/4 certificates as well as extensive experience carrying out both analytical and surveying duties. Applications from Tamworth, Redditch, Nuneaton, Solihull and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Holding the P402/P403/P404 certificates or the equivalent RSPH is essential.
• Previous experience working as a surveyor/analyst in the asbestos industry.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
• Fully conversant with the asbestos Health & Safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out asbestos 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing.
• Undertaking Management & Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on a variety of properties including commercial and industrial.
• Collate information and produce accurate asbestos reports.
• Liaising with the company’s clients on a regular basis.
