Job description

Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst.
Location: Stafford, Staffordshire.
Salary / Benefits: £24k - £45k + Training + Benefits

A Midlands based Asbestos Consultancy is seeking to take on an experienced and hard-working Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst. The successful candidate will have extensive experience and knowledge in working on predominantly Commercial and Housing sites. You will be confident in your ability to carry out the full range of surveying and analytical duties, working in line with HSG 264 guidelines. For the successful candidate, our client can offer a generous holiday allowance, enrolment onto the company pension scheme, a company vehicle, and a competitive salary. Due to the nature of the role, our client would be happy to receive CVs from candidates who hold P402 or P403/4 or P402/3/4 qualifications.

Experience & Qualifications:

1. Experience working for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy, working hands-on as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst.
2. Holding a combination of P402 or P402/4 or P402/3/4 is beneficial to the role.
3. Excellent IT skills and written ability.
4. Strong conversational skills, able to communicate efficiently.
5. Excellent knowledge and practical experience working in line with HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.

The Role:

1. Working on predominantly Commercial and Housing sites.
2. Carrying out management, refurbishment, demolition, and re-inspection surveys.
3. Conducting stage 4 clearances.
4. Undertaking smoke, leak, reassurance, background, leak, and personal air testing.
5. Carrying out surveying and analytical duties in line with HSG 264 / HSG 248 guidelines.
6. Producing detailed reports using information gathered from sites.
7. Working closely with clients, providing excellent technical consultancy advice.
