Job description

Asbestos Surveyor.

Preston.

Up to GBP40,000 (DOE) + Company Vehicle, Overtime & More.

DKF are on the lookout for an Asbestos Surveyor to join one of our clients to cover the Preston area. With over 30 years experience in the Asbestos industry, this is a great opportunity to work with an established nationwide consultancy.

What your core responsibilities would be:

  1. Carrying out thorough asbestos surveys in various sites including commercial and residential properties, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Perform visual inspections, collect samples, and accurately record data to assess the presence and condition of any asbestos present.
  3. To provide quality services and information to clients, must have knowledge of all current asbestos health and safety regulations and ensure this is maintained.
  4. Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients.

To be considered for this role you must meet the following criteria:

  1. Must hold BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent qualifications.
  2. At least 12 months experience working in a similar role on all types of buildings.
  3. Good Health and Safety practices.
  4. Understand and follow current UKAS legislation and practices.
  5. Must be IT competent, in order to compile and maintain accurate reports.
  6. Hold a full UK Driving Licence.
