Asbestos Surveyor

Location: Leeds (Nationwide travel)
Salary: Up to £35,000 with a full benefits package.

My client is a multi-disciplined HSE licensed asbestos removal contractor, UKAS accredited testing laboratory, and a UKAS accredited inspection body, providing clients in the public and private sectors with a flexible portfolio of asbestos services.

Key details for the Asbestos Surveyor role:

  • No housing Asbestos Survey.
  • All sites are commercial-based.
  • Nationwide operations with remote work options; occasional office visits required.
  • Quality is the client's top priority; time pressure is not involved.
  • Competitive pay with annual reviews and regular overtime opportunities.
Key Duties:
  • Able to identify asbestos containing materials.
  • Assess the risk of materials that contain asbestos.
  • Possess high-quality communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Confidently produce concise and accurate reports after surveying.
  • Work in a timely manner to adhere to deadlines.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry guidelines.
Qualifications Required:
  • BHOS P402 qualified (additional qualifications are welcomed).
  • 1 to 4 years of experience, which will influence salary range.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Working knowledge of software such as Microsoft Teams.
