Locations: Essex, Manchester, Newcastle, Scotland, and Cardiff

Our client is one of the UK’s leading environmental compliance and risk management consultancies. They specialise in providing solutions for organisations to ensure they remain compliant when managing environmental risks presented by hazards such as asbestos, fire, and water.

They are looking for enthusiastic Asbestos Site Surveyors who want to help grow the business, be part of our team, and develop their careers.

You will need to visit one of the offices above occasionally, with most of your time spent onsite at projects within the region.

Duties and Responsibilities of the role:

1. Sampling in accordance with HSG 264 and Quality Manual
2. Experience of building inspections for asbestos management and demolition/refurbishment surveys
3. Experience of producing site drawings and undertaking technical quality assurance of data
4. Understanding of Asbestos legislation, guidance, and Quality Manual requirements
5. Timely monthly quality control checks
6. Monthly reporting of exposure records and RPE inspections
7. Ensuring all equipment is correctly calibrated and tools are maintained to the specified level in HSG 264
8. Accurate data recording within data capture software
9. Properly labeling sample bags and labels with accurate sample information
10. Producing accurate site drawings using appropriate software (e.g., Floor Plan Creator) as per company and client requirements
11. Photographing all locations and uploading photographs onto servers
12. Conducting Technical Quality Assurance checks before report issuance to clients
