Locations: Essex, Manchester, Newcastle, Scotland, and Cardiff

Our client is one of the UK’s leading environmental compliance and risk management consultancies. They specialise in providing solutions for organisations to ensure they remain compliant when managing environmental risks presented by hazards such as asbestos, fire, and water.

They are looking for enthusiastic Asbestos Site Surveyors who want to help grow the business and be part of our team and grow their careers.

You will need to visit one of the offices above occasionally, and most of your time will be onsite at projects within the region.

Duties and Responsibilities of the role:

1. Sampling in accordance with HSG 264 and Quality Manual
2. Experience of building inspections for asbestos management and demolition/refurbishment surveys
3. Experience of producing site drawings and undertaking technical quality assurance of data
4. Understanding of Asbestos legislation, guidance, and Quality Manual requirements
5. Timely monthly quality control checks
6. Monthly reporting of exposure records and RPE inspections
7. Ensuring all equipment is correctly calibrated and tools are correctly maintained to the specified level in HSG 264
8. Record data accurately within data capture software
9. Record accurate sample information on sample bags and labels
10. Produce accurate site drawings using appropriate software (e.g., Floor Plan Creator) in line with current company and client-specific requirements
11. Check all locations are photographed and photographs are downloaded onto servers appropriately
12. Carry out Technical Quality Assurance checks prior to report being issued to the client
