Job description

Due to consistent growth of the business, this prominent and well established client based asbestos and environmental consultancy are seeking the services of a tenacious versatile and committed Asbestos Site Analyst based in and in and around the Cardiff area. The candidate will ideally hold the P403 and P404 and have hands on experience in delivering air-monitoring duties to a mixed portfolio of contracts. Applications will be considered from Newport, Bristol, Gloucester, Bath and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Holding the P403 and P404 asbestos certificate or the equivalent RSPH qualification is imperative.
• Must have extensive demonstrable experience in air-monitoring and within the asbestos sector.
• Will be conversant with the Health & Safety procedures with regards to asbestos.
• Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
• Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Undertaking asbestos smoke, background, leak, reassurance, visual, 4 stage clearances and re-occupation and personal air testing on various properties.

Overseeing asbestos contractors on site and ensuring that they adhere to Health and Safety procedures pertaining to asbestos.

Liaising with clients on a regular basis – maintaining and building good rapport with the clients.

Preparing and writing comprehensive reports as when needed.

Overall, the successful candidate will be an all-rounder, flexible, have good work ethos and at the same time have the ability to carry out the work effective and within timeline.
