Job Title: Asbestos Quality Manager
Location: Basildon, Essex.

Expanding Essex based company is currently recruiting for an experienced and technically minded Asbestos Quality Manager. Experience gaining and maintaining UKAS accreditation is essential for the role, and candidates must be able to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of ISO and UKAS guidelines. Experience / Qualifications

• BOHS P402, P403 & P404 (or equivalent qualification) as a minimum.
• Ideally will hold the CPP or CoCA qualification.
• In‑depth technical knowledge and experience implementing ISO guidelines.
• Proven track record of obtaining and maintaining UKAS accreditation.

The Role

• Maintain the company’s internal quality and technical procedures.
• Oversee and manage quality and technical operations, ensuring they run efficiently in line with agreed time frames.
• Carry out site audits, inspections and quality control to ensure works are being carried out in compliance with UKAS guidelines.
• Provide staff with training plans in line with company needs.
• Liaise with clients, providing excellent consultancy and technical advice.
• Undertake quality checks of surveying and analytical reports prior to being submitted to clients.
• Carry out quality control on internal and external systems.
• Use TEAMS / TRACKER systems to produce accurate reports.
• Manage any non‑conforming work and follow up development of corrective and preventative action.
