Overview:

Are you a lead asbestos surveyor or analyst seeking a career-defining opportunity to advance into asbestos quality management?

An exciting opportunity has arisen within an established and industry-leading asbestos consultancy based in Kent. They require an Asbestos Quality Manager to assist the branch manager with the successful delivery of ongoing projects.

Company Portfolio:

The consultancy boasts a diverse portfolio of interesting and challenging contracts across mainly commercial and housing sectors. This role is vital for their growth, and the successful candidate will play a key role in moving the consultancy forward.

The Role:
  1. Overseeing the output of surveying teams from a quality perspective.
  2. Assisting the lab manager in running the asbestos sampling lab and helping with the recruitment of analysts.
  3. Maintaining and developing Quality Management Systems with UKAS accreditation to ISO17020 and ISO17025.
  4. Conducting onsite audits, inspections, and quality control.
  5. Liaising with UKAS.
  6. Advising on training requirements.
  7. Ensuring compliance with UKAS documentation and procedures.
  8. Liaising with clients as needed.
Candidate Requirements:

Minimum BOHS P402 qualifications or RSPH equivalent are required; P405 in asbestos is desirable. Experience in contaminated land is highly advantageous.
