Primary Responsibilities

Arrange for asbestos management, refurbishment & demolition surveys to be undertaken by relevant term maintenance surveyors. Analyze reports to extract key information to enable asbestos to be managed in line with current legislation and HSE guidance. Additionally, inform all relevant staff and clients of findings contained within asbestos reports and coordinate removal, encapsulation, and re-inspections as necessary.

Requirements

The post holder must hold the following certification:

• BOHS Proficiency Module P405
• BOHS Proficiency Module P402

It would be desirable for the post holder to hold the following certification:

• BOHS S301 Asbestos and Other Fibres

Additional Expectations

The post holder will be expected to:

• Travel between various locations within and outside Aberdeen City during working hours regularly, and occasionally outside normal hours.
• Work flexibly throughout the city with no fixed office location.

Responsibilities

The post holder should demonstrate the ability to:

• Deal with a wide range of clients from various services and backgrounds.
• Engage with property professionals and contractors, including contributing to contract monitoring meetings.
• Use job-related databases and systems (e.g., Confirm, Consilium, Modus AIM's 5) competently.
• Use all standard MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook) proficiently.
