Job summary

5 Star Recruitment is seeking an Asbestos - Technical Support Officer to join our client team in Preston. The role involves reading technical documents and entering relevant details into PAMS / Alpha Tracker, and updating asbestos registers and floor plans. You will issue the updated reports to Premise Managers and manage follow-up communication.

You will handle general queries, liaise with the Asbestos Manager when necessary, and send ongoing correspondence after annual reinspections.

Qualifications

• Ability to read technical documents and extract key details.
• Proficiency with data entry into databases (PAMS / Alpha Tracker) and updating records.

Responsibilities

• Updating the asbestos register held on the software used by LCC.
• Updating floor plans showing the location of asbestos containing materials.
• Issuing updated reports to Premise Managers and requesting confirmation receipt.
• Dealing with general queries from Premise Managers or routing to the Asbestos Manager as needed.
• Issuing correspondence to Premise Managers following annual reinspections and any follow-up.
