Job Title: Asbestos Consultant

Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Consultant through to Lead Asbestos Consultant

Profile: Our client is a privately owned UKAS Accredited Asbestos Consultancy servicing more complex Commercial and Industrial client sites across the South East. They are now looking to take on a qualified and confident Asbestos Consultant based in and around the Aylesbury area. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in carrying out the full range of Surveying and Analytical duties and spending time with clients, building relationships and delivering specialist advice. Consideration will also be given to experienced Site Analysts, and in exchange the client can offer training into further P Certs, company car and/or car allowance.

Experience & Qualifications

• Will have consultancy experience within the asbestos industry.
• Must hold the P402, P404, P403 (or equivalent) qualifications.
• Will have excellent knowledge of the asbestos industry and of relevant Health & Safety guidelines.
• Will have previous / current experience of the asbestos industry.
• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in using Microsoft office.

The Role

• Carrying out management, demolition, and refurbishment surveys on a mixed portfolio of sites.
• Undertaking 4‑stage clearances, smoke, background, leak, reassurance, re‑occupational and personal air testing.
• Carrying out visual inspections.
• Working on short to long term removal projects and supervising LARC’s on site.
• Issuing certificates of reoccupation.
• Writing bespoke reports by use of industry recognised software.
• Attending client meetings and delivering consultancy advice.
• Updating registers and providing site specific advice on remediation/ removal.
• Ensuring that all work is being carried out in line with relevant Health & Safety legislation.
